2nd Portfolio Shoot ;)

Models: Melissa Campbell, Mariam J. Zahari, Pei Wen, Maria Halim Photographers: Yee Hou,Chung Lern

This shoot was killer fun :) The photographers were having fun playing with the lighting and things were less rushed as there was less to do. They were really god sent and really put their hearts into the shoot.

The models did me a huge favor and I am extremely grateful for their time and effort. Went to Genting after the shoot with Yee Hou, Pei Wen and the Chungster for dinner and to chill out. was really foggy that day but we had heaps of fun just walking around. Pei wen and I decided to be hero and went in shorts. It was pretty good and the weather was just fantastic :) Definitely hope to do more shoots with them and other photographers and models in the future.

Elizabeth and Jannio's Engagement

did hair and make up like i always do :) but i had heaps of fun this time as not only was everyone's skin super awesome (making things faster) but the girls i made up were super nice and the family was extremely hospitable although it took quite long as jannio's mom had super (but extremely soft) thick hair, it was great being only the second time i had done make up in someones home

waayyyyyyy before exams ended, we were all already planning our after exams agenda and the 21st was picked since it was a thursday and Maison was the no.1 venue on everyones mind since DJ Goldfish was going to rock the house and ladies night giving the girls a nice time.
as usual when VU people get together, fun and photos always follow. i met a whole bunch of people i had not seen for ages, from primary school friends right to those who ran away to other parts of the world. it was a fantastic night although it was so extremely packed we could barely walk. it was great meeting up with old friend and of course spending time with the VU people. it was a fantastic night and most of the pictures suggest them.
those who were not there were definitely missed but as always not everyone can make it to all the gatherings we arrange but this is by far the largest group meeting outside the university. it was great meeting new friends and introducing friends to other friend and so on. it was a great night and i feel blessed to have such a great group of friends :) rock on peeps

WHO THE MANN!!!

as always, food and good company bring VU students together again, this night was no exception having finished our last paper (Management and Organisation Behaviour) that very afternoon. Me being the crazy woman who loves to cook seized the opportunity to have everyone over at my place for dinner. the turn out was great and we had heaps of fun as always. food was non stop, laughter was on going and the photos are always the best part. its great when everyone gets together and has a great time. will definitely have more of these little get together more often :)

The great food was made possible with the much appreciated help of Tsze, Chee Kit and my mom. woot.

Aveda

Gone are the days of flat limp boring hair!!! reading allure every moth as always like a real religious beauty psycho, aveda is mentioned countlessly and is extremely popular in the areas of hair care. having to attend a dinne at Ming Room Bangsar Shopping Centre yesterday was the perfect opportunity for me to stop by at Practically the only place in Malaysia that sells Aveda. I have known and head about the brand ages ago but never really got around to trying it out. i have always had problems with my boring limp straight hair. i want to get it slightly permed but never really dared and do not have hair long enough now to do that. Allure was full of summer tips for the season from make up for the beach to sexy lock wherever whenever. This June issue is really the bestest and has some of the most interesting beauty tips with also a list of the best personal care from nail polish to foundation and shampoo and what not. so being desperate for nice "big" hair (my hairstylist always blows my hair big because she knows i love it) i went in requesting for a volumising spray and hence i met my match. having long thick strands of hair, they are always prone to being flat in such humid weather as my hair tends to get quite heavy. sometimes i even factor out conditioner when I'm lazy because having my hair a little dry would give it some body, but my hairstylist has noticed that i have not been using conditioner and i have been requested to not be lazy anymore :) so this new found volumizing tonic of mine is so great and easy to use. i used it for the first time today and was told it spray near the scalp for maximum volume and it seriously does work. spray onto towel dried hair and blow out with a round comb and a great hairdryer and there you have it, instant shiny and bouncy hair :) loves it. Aveda is known for its natural ingredients and this hair tonic contains Aloe, Echinacea, Hops, Kelp and Lavender. even if it was just loaded with chemicals like my loreal professional shampoo and didn't have any natural or organic ingredients i would use it away. so the organic thing is a real plus. for only RM 59 for a fairly large bottle that would most probably last you ages if you use it as required, its really magic in a bottle :)

Vu after hours

it starts of pretty innocently, everyone just sits down and has a good chat, take a few nice photos

great group one thanks to the couple at the next table

then we start to have a little fun with poser photos

as the alcohol kicks in some of us get a lil funny in the face (ahem palm)

and then things slowly start to kick in

ivan loves his drink as always, making the most out of it and singing with it

even finding it a lil partner :)

and then we get bored and decide that drinking alone is not fun

disturbing others while they drink is even better

and sometimes we do try our best to leave people alone

ivan becomes possessive. ivan: "fuck off palm" (wack in the face)

Palm does get some eventually, so that he wont feel too bad :)

ivan becomes greeedddyyy (more, more). eli does not seem comfortable

Palm's not short of the fun too

ivan confuses his drink with a bottle of ketchup and starts doing odd things to it

ivan quickly moves on to a ciggy

but thinks again, deciding that fries may kill him slightly slower

ivan is very well versed when it comes to taking Chinese girl like photos
trying to bring out the so called cuteness in him
don't let the silly face fool you
tentacles sprouting out of his face are is ultimate fantasy the 5th pose to top it all off
eli was trying to kill me with her metal machine
ivan and eli tyring to disguise themselves as bugs and the Tasmanian devil

specially for ivannnnn

so yeah i still like eggs. they are still good
i really have no idea what to blog about. thats why i never really wanted to start a blog because i knew i would have jack shite to write about since i lead a boring and dramaless life. but i like it that way because im comfortable the way i am and i have had eough of drama in 2005 and i just dont want to go back to that. but still a manager i had to interview says change is nessasry but people dont like to chnage and innovate because they like their comfort zone. but so far comfort zone is good with me and i think i will stay there for awhile. i dont want any drama so i will try my best not to go looking for it.
so today i just just blog about random stuff such as recommended by tsze tsze...
so firstly i shall tell you why i like going to university everyday and why i don't.
lets start with the good news because good news as the name implies makes people happy. uni rocks now because obviously the people rock. i have never had such a fantastic bunch of fun, crazy, energised, daring, and generous group of friends. we are a bigggg biggg group and it get larger slowly. we just have so much fun together, everyone is free to be his or her self when we are together. we hang out heaps together and just enjoy each others company so much. we go out in such large groups sometimes we make so much noise and just can't shut up. our conversations are full of laughter and is definetely really loud.
no one feels left out when we are together, everyone excepts eash others comments and jokes about everything under the sun, from boobies to gays to food and what not. every one is so open and full of life. not only do these people make life during classes brearable, but after hours is just continuous laughter and craziness. i dont know i just love it so much and i think they are all great people. have not met any problematic people in my class lately (towards me that is) and generally everyone is really nice. uni is great with the friends i know. me likey. and the people who make me laugh and do crazy things, you know who you are.
okay all good things sometimes have downers. and as most of my course mates know, my business statistics teacher loves picking on me and making my life in his class miserable. i know i express no interest in maths what so ever since i hate numbers, but i dont exactly make a bitch load of noise in his class so that he cant teach. i usually just sit there quietly reading my book or day dreaming on my own, usually with minimum noise. he can be funny sometimes but it gets to me when he raps at the board just to try and get our attention. cant stand it. not happening, dont like it. we also have an economics teacher that has the worstest english.
i know my english is not all that but her being a lecturer shoud be able to pronounce simple words like smooothieee. pronouncing english words like they are the malaysian language just does not cut it for me. but it is fun because it gives tsze, chee kit and i something to laugh about. sort of compensates for her very very boring class and her constantly saying uh and ah in every sentence. its weird no idea why she does it, but people have their quirks and habits. like how i like picking my lips. but ms greeja and mr zain are pretty good, strict but they know much better how to hold our attention and keep us focused. i respect them, they be wicked
anyway lately ive been hooked to this site: www.illwillpress.com. its about this little squirrel named foamy and his bigg bobb and bum owner. he rants about everything under the sun from jack ass smokers who say they want to quit but do a half ass job and tech support that mainlu based in india when the products are made in japan and used in the US. he swears heaps and he rants and complains like crazy. sounds like a typical boring brat but the things he insults and rants about actually really make sense and happen in real life. ive been sharing foamys love with a few of my friends and they just walk away laughing and saying that its true. its great, straight to the point and i think you should check it out. gives you a good laugh when you are bored or just in need of some entertainment.
so far thats all i have to say for now. mainly to give ivan a few things to read since my blog was mainly about the shite i bought, the pictures i take and the make up im obsessed about.

make-up

okay today we shall talk about make up and the wonders it does to man kind. 1. make up is fantastic because it promotes creativity. a makeup artist can create anything on something so simple as the human face, be it special effects or just sticking to the bare essentials. the face is the best canvas i can think of as any wrong can be erased easily just with a few swipes of make up remover and a make up artist does not have to start from scratch if a mistake is made which is always the beauty of make up products. yeah sure people say make up ruins your face and bla bla bla, but as long as we stick to a good skin care routine and remove make up throughly, all will be good after. 2. makeup is great also because it help improve our confidence. yes i know that we should all appretiate what god gave to us and stick with the natural and all that. but whats is wrong with having a slight confidence booster. some require heavy make up to feel like who they are but some may need as little as concealor and balm. makeup helps us be sure of our appearance and to help us stay on top of our game. we all know that vanity is in these days and it is clearly proven by the number of males who take acne medicine. although certain acne medicine have reported extreme side effects, many are still willing to take the risk and go through the pain as they feel that the after effect is a great confidence booster. so why stinge on the make up if it makes you feel better. 3. make up is great because it helps us stay on top of our game. it is proven that the likelyhood of someone good looking getting their way is much higher than that of someone who looks not so good. if a business man has late nights contantly due to entertaining clients and sealing deals, it would not be appealing if he tuned up for work with heavy eye bags and a dull skin tone. i am sure we would all be more convinced by someone who looks more alert as lack of sleep really shows on the face. so why not brighten the face up a little and convince more people of what you are selling and make more money. its a win win situation, you look better and get what you want more often. because when it comes to purchasing stuff or sealing deals or getting what you want, i do not think we really care about what the client thinks of us, becuase we are not out to have them like us just the way we are. we are there to just get what we want and leave. having a good appearance today is crucial because the excess to beuty products is so simple there is really no excuse. 4. we all say that this celeb and that celeb looks great. i say its all about the way they dress and the make up they use to make them look good. super model tyra backs looks great with a shit load of make up on but strip that all off and you have a very uneven skin tone and bad bad eye bags. many of the poeple we think look great today may be nothing to us without their make up artist. yes it all comes with skill also but would you think jessica albo woule be so appealing doing her movies without her make up artist? i bet she would just look tired and worn out from all the work. maggie q has a full face of frekles along with lindsay lohan but with makeup they look great, may not be real but still great. and good looking people do make it one step furthur in the world ( sometimes ). yes vanity is overrated and it creates unnecssasry wants in the world and allocates money where it should not be. but it still does create millions of jobs all around the world and if vanity was so bad it world not be growing as fast as china is growing. makeup unleashes something different in us and sometimes what we never knew existed

BEAUTY whats in this spring

minimal glamour was seen at Prada, skin is very fresh and matte with a splash of metallic as gold eye shadow. Roberto Cavalli- the simple matte look for this season. very natural and simple with large lashes and high brows to add definition to the face. Valentino- skin is very matte this season as the looks are very natural and simple. some metallic eye shadow is used at the corners of the eyes and on the cupids bow. hair accessories are very in this season to look extra chiq. At Versace there were fresh sun kissed faces with metallic eye shadow, pink blush to give that healthy glow and a soft coloured lip gloss to give the lips a slight peachy colour make up is so natural and simple this year with metallic being very very in. a clean simple look was seen at Zac Posen
John Galianno- bold makeup based on Pop Art and Lichtenstein prints, very romantic a simple matte face again but with dark eyes to create a Strong and unusual look at Karl Lrgerfeld. Bangs are so in this year so... snip snip
Micheal Kors- simple and clean is very in this season with clean make up with no frills and hair tied back neatly to show off a fresh face

Missoni displayed a very fresh satin look a lot of mascara on the bottom, brown eye shadow on the eyelids, and gloss and glitter to make it a little bit tougher

Narcisco Rodriguez- intense eyes and a fresh no frill face. a simple chignon was done with a little hair sticking out to rid of the prim proper lady like look

Diane von Futsenberg went bold with hot fuchsia lipstick on a very clean face, instantly adding colour and fun. and like i said, bangs are in :) Donna Karan displayed makeup inspired by the desert and again with a fresh clean look and pale lips with a little blush to add colour. Dsquared-extra corner lashes are added to create a sex kitten look. big volumed hair is added to inject a little fun and bounce At Fendi, stick straight hair was parted right down the middle giving a very simple and neat style. minimal make up is used to achieve a very clean, fresh look that is very natural. the ponytail is so in again this season at Gucci with hair sleeked back to give a clean, fresh and romantic look. liquid eye liner and brown eye shadow were used on a simple fresh face
Alberta Feretti- lips are covered in foundation to give a pastel feel with blush applied very high on the temples of the cheeks. shimmery purple eye liner was drawn long at sleek. hair is crimped but not teased to add volume allowing a light an easy feel rather than one that is stiff and rigid
Alessandro Dell' Acqua- The color palette is very milky—coffee and cappuccino colors, giving a very sophisticated amazonian feel. Chanel had my favourite look overall. with wicked metallic eyes. a combination of gold and silver eye shadow with high shimmer. skin was simple and natural with a sexy ponytail and simple accessory to Finnish off the look. classy, sexy, simple
Alexander Mcqueen with ghostly looking make up again. very deadly and dreamy Christian Dior displayed girls with fresh faces that are lightly powered. strong brows are so in this season to add character to the face. hair inspired by Joan of Arc with little boyish bobs

monica lee face art academy

some stuff i have been learning at class :) i love make up. its funners. sourse lasted for 2 months n just finnished although i still have to go back for lots of practical to brush up.

Paradox Mode Makeup

As Shu Uemura ages physically, his mind fails to follow. constantly coming up with the most fantastic and modern makeup, shu uemura continues to amaze and fascinate us in his latest collection, the limited edition Paradox Mode Makeup. i had the fantastic opportunity of trying all the new colours in this range today. it will not be out till next week :) so all you make up fanatics better hurry up. this new collection truly breaks boundaries with glow in the dark fake lashes :) complete with pastel colours for spring this year, it also gives a slight futuristic look mainly with its eye lashes. bright baby pink rogue unlimited graces this collection along with a fantastically striking pink eye shadow that can also double up as a blush. constantly amazing us with fantastic fake eye lashes, shu uemura inserted a glow in the dark effect into the ones in this collection. the new gloss lacquer presented also acts as a lip stain that gives the lips a fabulous touch of colour and fantastically moisturising it along the way. a new metallic pencil in white has a sharper end for more precise application that makes eyes look brighter and more alert once applied to the corners of the eyes. i just cant wait for the purchasable stock to arrive :) feminine and masculine at the same time, the new Paradox Mode Makeup by Shu Uemura will be a great add on to makeup kits :) think spring summer, think pastel, think colour loves it. hurry up and get em.

so let us talk about fake LV bags, fake Gucci, fake burberry and all that other fake stuff you cheap people out there buy. i am sure nadia would so support me on this. here's the low down alright. buying fake designer or branded goods is just bad. its devilish, its terrible. why? because first of all fantastic designers such as karl largerfeld and john galianno work hard as hell to come up with so of the best designs the world has ever seen. they work as hard as you and i to make a little dough ( well maybe heaps since they are so talented ). why steal their hard work? let us celebrate the minds of these geniuses. secondly, i believe that if you cant afford it, DON'T BUY IT!!! just because one cannot afford a real pair of Levi's or seven does not mean that they have to purchase it from some joker at petaling street. flaunt only what you got is what i believe. its no use trying to pretend you own something that would probably require more than a month's salary, sometimes a few years really. why try to pretend you are rich when you really are not? there are perfectly alright cheaper brands such as Lesportsac and Roxy and what not. it's all good. don't have to try and pull off stuff you can't afford. because it can sometimes be pretty obvious. here is the MAIN reason why you really SHOULD NOT touch fake designer products. as we all know china is growing fast as a bitch and they have extremely cheap labour as we all know. their products are cheap and of good quality. but the reason these fake goods are so cheap is because they use CHILD LABOUR. these children as young as 8 years of age work at these factories and earn only $50-$100. that's slavery i say. they have to work extremely long hours with very little food and sleep. its a waste of their childhood since we all have the right to education. why should we deprive them of this right? just because we all enjoy it? we all fight for animal rights like crazy, what about our fellow humans? these children are exposed to sounds that are damaging to the ear, toxic fumes and bad working conditions. its just really saddening. yes we all know that designer products are expensive and we all want some LV and Gucci but when you just can't afford it you just can't. such is life. so of us are born with trunk loads of money and some just tiny purses. but all the same, let us live within our means (something I'm still trying to achieve, but i don't buy fake goods). buy original i say!!!

on thursday i held a post ausmat ( march intake) party at my place after the malaysian studies paper. it was wicked sick. we all had so much fun just chilling and eating together. there was lots of food on the menu consisting of 4 pasta sauces, mash potato, salad, garlic bread and lots of drinks. everyone just hung around and chatted and when we eventually filled ourselves, just sat around chatting with each other. me being the make up freak decided to convince one of the guys to allow me to make them up and behold we have ming jian the one of the most willing guys i have ever met. he willingly allowed me to make him look pretty and really was the highlight of the party. the girls were also extremely helpful helping my mom and i not only to prepare but to clean up. everyone was very orderly and they left my house with everything back in its original order. tzse tzse even stayed over the night before to help out with things. overall we had lots of good food lots of good chatter and heaps of fun :)

thank you so much to everyone who came :)

thermodynamics for amanda the nerd

i have a best friend. her name is amanda. sometimes i call her amanda the panda who eats banana. she likes to study very much and does not have very much of a life. she loves school so much that she wants me to write about her favourite topic THERMODYNAMICS. even though i am sure she knows enough i am sure she just wants to fool around with me and mess with my mind. she knows i care nothing about heating as long as i have hot water when i take a shower. but it is okay. i said that i would write about stuff people wanted me to write about. so here mandy, your thermodynamics. JOKES Thermodynamics, (from the Greek thermos meaning heat and dynamics meaning power) is a branch of physics that studies the effects of changes in temperature, pressure, and volume on physical systems at the macroscopic scale by analyzing the collective motion of their particles using statistics. Roughly, heat means "energy in transit" and dynamics relates to "movement"; thus, in essence thermodynamics studies the movement of energy and how energy instills movement. Historically, thermodynamics developed out of the need to increase the efficiency of early steam engines. This can be applied to a wide variety of topics in science and engineering, such as engines, phase transitions, chemical reactions, transport phenomena, and even black holes ( ooooo, we might just talk about black holes next) . The results of thermodynamics are essential for other fields of physics and for chemistry, chemical engineering, cell biology, biomedical engineering, and materials science bla bla bla... A short history of thermodynamics begins with the German scientist Otto von Guericke ( funky name, like Diana von Futsenberg) who in 1650 built and designed the world's first vacuum pump and created the world's first ever vacuum (known as the Magdeburg hemispheres). He longed to make a vacuum in order to disprove Aristotle's long-held supposition that 'nature abhors a vacuum'. Not too long after though, Irish physicist and chemist Robert Boyle had learned of Guericke's designs and in 1656, in coordination with English scientist Robert Hooke, built an air pump. Using this pump, Boyle and Hooke noticed the pressure-temperature-volume correlation. In time, Boyle's Law was formulated, which states that pressure and volume are inversely proportional. Then, in 1679, based on these concepts, an associate of Boyle's named Denis Papin built a bone digester, which was a closed vessel with a tightly fitting lid that confined steam until a high pressure was generated. In thermodynamics, there are four laws of very general validity, and as such they do not depend on the details of the interactions or the systems being studied. Hence, they can be applied to systems about which one knows nothing other than the balance of energy and matter transfer. Examples of this include Einstein's prediction of spontaneous emission around the turn of the 20th century and current research into the thermodynamics of black holes. The four laws are: Zeroth law of thermodynamics, stating that thermodynamic equilibrium is an equivalence relation. If two thermodynamic systems are separately in thermal equilibrium with a third, they are also in thermal equilibrium with each other. First law of thermodynamics, about the conservation of energy The change in the internal energy of a closed thermodynamic system is equal to the sum of the amount of heat energy supplied to the system and the work done on the system. Second law of thermodynamics, about entropy The total entropy of any isolated thermodynamic system tends to increase over time, approaching a maximum value. Third law of thermodynamics, about absolute zero temperature As a system asymptotically approaches absolute zero of temperature all processes virtually cease and the entropy of the system asymptotically approaches a minimum value; also stated as: "the entropy of a perfectly crystalline body at absolute zero temperature is zero." so anyway in the end they always like to say that with out certain people finding out about thermodynamics many things would not be possible today, so many make up would not have been invented and all that. this is just a brief summary of thermodynamics. if you want to know more go check out www.shuuemura.com.my, shu uemura is a scientist too because he invented products that make me look better, and i am sure that thermodynamics comes into play somewhere :) JOKES. i know im lame.

writing in my blog and posting photos i realise can be quite fun especially when there is ample time to waste. but i am sure we all stumble upon the occasional writers block. hence i welcome all comments and ideas. if you have a wicked topic to share with me or a great idea tell me about it or even after i have published something debate with me about it. open new topics and ideas for me and share your likes and dislikes, feelings and experiences with me. i will try my best to accommodate your request and in the fastest time possible. and drop a word if you visit too... want to know where to get good face care? great make up? a certain dress? shopping buddy? advice? help obtaining something related to making you look good? need an opinion on something? i can TRY and come up with the answers :) like i said, i do what i can Fanks all

scum of the world

today we shall talk about the scum of the world. idea courtesy of mariel jane chow :) so what is scum of the world? it is you and me. admit it, we have all been guilty of that occasional bitch about that girl we hate or our annoying brother or sister. we humans are the scum of the world. some of us can control our tongue better than others but i am very very sure that we are not all saints. so what is it with the scum of the world increasing as we find out more about others and the world? the more protected we are the less we find out about these people. the ones we thought would be there for us really are not and the ones we least expect sometimes turn out to be our saviours. people change as time passes due to the influence of the media and circumstances in their lives. i too have changed over the years from what i have experienced and learned. although more bitchy but sometimes in a world full of scum the only person we have is our self. everyone is guilty every now and then for bitching about someone or something, its inevitable. we as humans are never satisfied and always find was to criticise and comment on whatever available be it the latest fashion or our mothers cooking. it is in a way beneficial to improve ourselves but sometimes it can get overpowering. but it is a fact, we are the scum and we are usually never satisfied. i definitely have had my share of complaints and grumbles i admit. but like i said, scum of the world. i too have experienced a few scums in my life but the question is who has not? so we are all just scums but we definitely have to try not to become the turd of the world. now that would be an all time low. as we all struggle in this rat race we live in be it work or studies, sometimes we just have to harden our heart to ensure that we do not get crushed in the wild stampede. but we all know that life is hard and sometimes we cannot blame ourselves or others for becoming scum. experiences changes people and we all become more aware of that little extra step we always stumble upon, because who enjoys falling constantly. we pick ourselves up and ensure that we do not fall again and have the opportunity to pick ourselves up again the next time we fall over that other step. as the saying goes, once beaten twice shy, we don't go looking for trouble when we can avoid it. its just human nature. after you get cut by a knife once and it hurts and bleeds, a larger number of us would usually be second the next time around. but sometimes the scum affects many of us and the knife becomes our best friend, seeking physical pain rather than emotional. many of us have survived the snide comments made by others by ignoring it and usually like myself, would sometimes like to confirm it. like when random people tell you that who and who is preggers. its quite ironic how people like spreading that bit of information around even thought it is usually far from the truth. due to that one person who may have had an abortion or actually given birth, people take the opportunity to add drama to everyone else's life due to their own boring ones. it seems like OC, Prison Break and what not encourages them to make the lives of others more complicated. who really cares who is preggers? does it really affect us? do we get to become the god parent? who are we to judge? have you not cheated or lied in your life? be it the smallest sin? does it really matter who is together with who and weather he or she is good enough for the other? let us take a few minutes to ponder.

natalie's 18th

natalie and i

some of the great food

paul and i ( he grew )

some of the wicked deco yi kye and i nick and wei ming i like parties. its true on the 28th of october, natalie soh ( my neighbour, ex- school mate and ex-green house cheerleader) celebrated her 18th birthday at mum's place, a restaurant located in damansara perdana. i really enjoyed myself and had a fantastic time. the food was great, the company was fabulous and the atmosphere was delighting. Natalie's selection of food was fantastic and she was a greally great and outgoing host. even her mother was a great sport, shaking her thing on the dance floor getting all of us shy ones to get jiggy with it, which i am guessing made natalie a little red in the face. but all was good.

natalie and i do not know each other fantastically well but a once cheered with her in 2004 and we had a blast. it was great to see her again after so along, as even though we are neighbours, we ever really caught up. shes a great girl a a fantastic dancer i must say, really getting her thing on during the party. sexy she is i just say ;) especially on the dance floor. mum's place is a fantastic venue for a party i feel. the decoration is extremely homey as not only is it a restaurant, it also sells wicked wood furniture. there were numerous tables with mismatched chairs which were extremely cool and wood definetly be the envy of wood furniture lovers. we occupied the second floor and the space was great, enough for at least 10 tables ( of various sizes), buffet tables, dance floor and mingling space. there were two sections, one brightly lit and the other more dark and romantic for the lights on the dance floor to take effect and for people who want to just chill and have a chat. having the place sectioned out also gave the talkers a chance to catch up with each other without having to shout over the music. although the atmosphere was good, the company really made the party enjoyable. having left Sri KDU for Perth only after a year of studying there, it was fantastic to meet up with a few classmates who i had not seen in awhile. it is great to find out how everyone is doing and everyone was just so grown up and good looking. it was great catching up over the great food and drinks, finding out where everyone is and what they have been up to. most of them were really into the party and really dedicated to ensure that natalie had a good time. the food at mum's place was awesome. everyone just could not stop eating and thankfully we all got rid of those extra weight from all the dancing. there was a large variety of food available such as noodles, fish, chicken, beef and many many more. it was all so authetic and fantastic. most everyone had compliments for the good food which i am guessing was expertly arranged. dinner there is already a treat with good prices and fantastic taste but to have an even larger array that day was like food heaven. like i mentioned before all was good and i had lots of fun just hanging out, dancing and taking photos.

rogue unlimited

i love using lipstick. its true unleash the power of full plump juicy 3D lips ladies. the new ROGUE UNLIMITED by Shu Uemura is here. lip stick used to make me upset. but obviously during a time when make-up was new to me, most probably at the age of 16. but obviously i am not pro at it since the learning process is ongoing and Shu Uemura is still the make-up God. a novice i truely am when it comes to make-up, as its wonders never cease. anyway i used to get itchy lips when i used lip stick a few years ago. after a few minutes of application, my lips would start to itch, and hence out comes the Kleenex. i figued i was allergic and having extremely dry lips and constantly carrying out my childhood habit of peeling them, they never went on well. the secret to my occasionally fat lips is not collagen, but actually my constant habit of not being able to keep my fingers away from my lips causing them to be contactly swollen and red. you might oaccsionally see me peeling my lips but those of you who know me well enough have even been known to slap my hands away. but now. i can never stay away from lipstick, but obviously only particulat brands such as Shu and M.A.C. so yes the new Rogue Unlimited was recently launched by Shu in Malaysia. and i must say, god sent. i am personally a big fan of the fosted range of lipsticks as already having fairly bee stung lips, frosted lip sticks just made it all the more juicy ;). M.A.C has a fantastic range of frosted lip glosses don't get me wrong but the Rogue Unlimited really lives up to its name. with an extremely wide range of colours including white, green, yellow, blue, purple and black ( and i mean matte, like the main white, green, yellow, blue, purple and black in your little colouring set you used to bring to kindergarden). these colours are extremely rare and personally i have not seen it in any make-up counter. being weird sounding to have anything but brown, red and pink lips, there outstanding colours not only go fantastically well on their own with a wet look finnish, they are fantastic when it comes to mixing and matching. perfect for the runway and everyday use. use some white witch a wicked red lip gloss and you have a fantastic pink. mix some blue and yellow and you get green. that kind of concept. now we can all blend our lips like we blend our eyes. not only does the Rogue unlimited come with colours not common to women, it also gives a fantastic shiny finnish. its 3D effect is amazing and colour glides on like a figure skater gracefully glides on ice. its colour stays for ages and a few swipes gives you the colour you want. it makes lips look full and extremely kissable. with moiusturising capabilities, this lipstick is a wonder to have lips stay wet, slick and sexy. other than its amazing qualities that stand out, its packaging is fantastic. it comes in a luxurious crystal case. ever had problems with lipsticks such as estee lauder and revlon that have blue and black packaging. gone are the worries of having to open up the caps of our lipsticks to find the right colour. unless you know the colour code names by heart, this is fantastic on the go and obviously reduces the chance of taking out that wrong tube of lipstick which was next to the one that you intended to throw into your bag. personally Shu is just about my most favourite brand when i comes to make up. but like the loreal professional moto, " all different:each unique", i believe that everyone has their own taste when it comes to make up, be it mode or bobbi brown natural. at just RM65 a pop, experience the ultimate make-up experience. it is to die for. Shu Uemura has done it yet again as always. visit www.shuuemura.com.my for more cool stuff

its all fake

i like photos being taken of me. its true :) its even better when i get paid doing it yes. the evil world of advertising. you work like a dog and get paid shite. its a fact. but the bonus is that you do not require a hot shot degree if you want to do creative. just got to have that crazy mind.anyway i know a fair share of the advertising world. drugs, long hours, deadlines, shite bosses, crazy clients who ask for things that do not appeal. i know whats on the surface but that is what i was told by an ex-boyfriend of mine who worked at a well known advertising agency. he was an art director or some high post for the hotlink accounts. if you want to sleep well and have a nice wife adevertising is not for you. http://www.liberator.net/humor/dilbertADV.html the blessed kind soul started me off with my first advertisment, although only a featured extra role, was extremely enjoyable and a great experience. its interesting how people get you to sit around for many many hours to decide what you wear. but i must say its something i enjoy and i get paid for it. so what the heck. at least i dont have to work 10 hours and get only 50 bucks.all those hot chicks out there, go for it i say. especially if you like to whore. why not get to see your face on newspapers and random media for awhile and then make sure they take it off after the contract ;)

my first ad :) fabulous art director

but hey its good, its interesting, you pity the people who do not get to sleep and you meet new hot people.its also good to have a professional and extremely fun and talented crew organise make up artist do your hair face and wardrobe. its competitive and i can far from say that i am good as many models i have met have been doing this their whole life. some are even bums and live on the money they earn from modelling ( hot bums mind you ). but they obviously only make enough for their age. unless it becomes a full time job like amber chia and what not. even so most top models such as twiggy, tyra, iman and janice do not rely on their modelling to survive, talk shows and series's with girls tugging at each others hair ensures a life time of continous money supply and fame. its also quite " nice " to shoot at funny times of the morning and be asked to look like we are genuinely happy. to pretend we are excited about Hotlink rewards right after we had just had either 20 ciggs or a nice half hour nap. its fun, its annoying, it can beitirng but overall its a good experience ( the first few times ) .

doing shoots also taught me that apple is the best device known to man kind when it comes to advertising. everything is dropped fixed and just about nothing is real. just a nice white screen, a 5 figure camera and the old trustee MAC. and earning my own money was good. because i couldnt spend it any way i wanted and not ask my parents for money. i felt grown up :) so yes i have worked i know a little of what it is like to work and spending the money i earn is the best part. no guilt no strings attached. just good old shopping.

funnkayyy munkayy

i like eggs. its true i tell you i must say i have put off starting a blog for a fair amount of time but boredom had gotten the bettr of me. My finals ( TEE ) are in less than a week and although i am shittin bricks, i cant bring myself to study alone. i blame it on poor dicipline and the lack of a studying companion, or maybe someone that can study with me without talking about something more interesting. but yes looking at my bestie Amanda Ng and Jonathan Wong's blogs i suspect there must be some time consuming and facinating thing about telling people what i did yesterday, today and what i will be doing tomorrow. and also the random things i waste my money on and the random people i meet. anyway what better way to start my blog than to tell you about what make me me :) 1. i enjoy shopping very much. anything from clothes to make up to food. its become quite an addcition and i admit that i spend to much but thankfully actually use what i buy. i buy on impulse and a list just will not work. because all some of us know, we do stumble upon that little something that we just must have. 2. i like eggs. and many of you may already know that since i make sure you do. eggs are good because they are versatile. they can be fried, deep friend, boiled, half- boiled, taken raw and whatever tickles you fancy really. it is cheap. full of vitamins and it taste goooose 3. i think the gym is fun. as i have nothing to do most days and try to keep myself away from the shu uemura counter, i exercise and try to build some muscles and tone up. celebrity fitness is where i go to and the dance classes there are amazing. trainers are friendly and its booming with life and energy ( sometimes annoying music ). 4. series' like veronica mars and will and grace interest me due to the excess time on my hands. its interesting and the sarcasm is classic. its fantastic to see how gays and straight people live together and how americans surround themselves in money, drugs and murders. but true enough they are all fiction but there has to be something that exist in the world to base it on. but who knows. each their own i say 5. i enjoy taking photos and those who know me well enough will know or have been the poor things that get caught when i go crazy.although the fetish has died down the passion will always live. thats basically it for the moment as that is all i can think of at the moment. im am sure you random visitors out there will get to know me better as i rant more
